VPS Hosting Plans and Services

PlikVPS offers VPS hosting plans starting at IDR Rp.xxx.xxxx,- per month with a guaranteed RAM allocation of 512 MB to ensure you have enough memory to run your VPS efficiently. We utilize SWsoft Virtuozzo which is the leading virtualization software in the market to run your VPS. Included is the cPanel control panel which is the leading end user control panel in the industry.

Additionally, PlikVPS offer various value added features with our VPS plans including a free Clientexec billing software license for those that want to use their VPS to resell hosting, free domain and SSL reseller account, free Fantastico and numerous upsell features including Site Studio, SWsoft's Site Builder, Urchin 5, and Rapid SSL.

Network Infrastructure

PlikVPS use enterprise class servers are housed in the 25,000 sq.ft. AtlantaNAP datacenter in Altanta, Georgia with gigabit connections to Savvis, Telia, Global Crossing, and PCCW-BTN. For more informaton about our servers and technology, see "VPS Technology" tab.

Initial Configuration

PlikVPS will install and perform the initial configuration of your VPS to get you up and running immediately. We will install the Apache webserver, DNS, FTP, MySQL, mailserver (SMTP, POP, IMAP), Spamassassin and Clam anti-virus, PHP w/Zend and eAccelerator, SSL server, cPanel w/Fantastico, etc. We'll also perform the initial setup of your cPanel/WHM control panel and tweak it for optimal performance.

Security Hardening

PlikVPS will install a security package to protect your VPS from unauthorized access. The security package includes installing APF (firewall), BFD, mod_security, chkrootkit and rkhunter, disable any unused services/packages, configure custom spamassasin rules with OCR to identify image spam, EXIM dictionary attack protection, RBLs, harden sysctl.config, secure PHP, secure named with DNS poison protection, harden SSH, and more.

VPS Updates

PlikVPS will ensure the latest updates and security patches for all services are installed on your VPS. This includes upgrading the kernel and OS, updating your control panel to the latest stable version, and upgrading server software when new vulnerabilities are detected. If you need a specific server software such as PHP upgraded we can also perform the upgrade for you on request.

Proactive Monitoring

PlikVPS will monitor your VPS around the clock 24 hours a day 365 days a year. If we find any service such as http (Apache), mySQL, DNS, SMTP, etc failed we'll login to your VPS and restart it as necessary and if required reboot your VPS to get it back up and running without you having to worry about your VPS being offline at 3am.

PlikVPS servers are housed in the 25,000 sq.ft AtlantaNAP datacenter in Atlanta, Georgia. We strive to provide the most reliable network by utilizing the best equipment consisting of Cisco with gigabit connections to Savvis, Telia, PCCW-BTN, and Global Crossing.

The AtlantaNAP utilizes the Avaya route science route optimizer to ensure the highest performance routing to your VPS versus normal BGP. While normal BGP simply looks at how many hops from internet user to your VPS, the route science system traces back to the internet user up to 7,000 times a minute identifying any problematic areas such as speed, packetloss, amount of hops than re-routing the connection to ensure the fastest possible route to your VPS.

Server Specifications

PlikVPS enterprise class servers are 2U rack mounted Supermicro running Western Digital Raid edition SATA II drives in 3ware hardware Raid 10 configuration with 16 GB fully buffered ECC RAM and dual power supplies. Hot-swap drives, fans, and PSU means no downtime during drive, PSU failure.

Virtualization Technology

PlikVPS exclusively run the industry leading Virtuozzo software from SWsoft to power your VPS. Virtuozzo creates virtual environments on a single server ensuring that your VPS is isolated with your own system resources such as CPU, memory making it suitable for high I/O applications.
